Written Chinese Dictionary app good for
Very useful tool! I could recommend it to anyone starting to learn chinese!
Update made and little bugs corrected ! Definitely the APP to use to grind your Hanzi. Plus, if you daily use it, you are rewarded by coins, used to unlock packs and contents. A great effort in a pay-per-use world. Thanks WCC :)
很好 我很喜欢。gostei muito ajuda bastante a estudar chines. I loved this app❤️
Excellent features and great reliability! I use it along my Chinese classes to learn how to properly write the signs and it works great!
One of the most versatile learning applications Ive had the pleasure of coming across. Innovative layout separates it from other language learning tools and keeps the journey exciting and fresh. The updates are good at bringing new software to users. An issue I experienced is collecting rewards from certain in app systems on iOS due to a browser/app switch where the acceptance menu disappears however support staff has been on their game and helped me each time and is engaged in the process. Thank you to the whole team and I hope any readers choose to join the community hence. :)

I find the use of this app very helpful in that it helps me strengthen my knowledge of characters with customizable flash cards and dictionary. The ability to take pictures of characters with instant translation is also helpful.
Some bad moments
I use this app all the time to practice my Chinese. I search a word and if I dont know it, I add it to my flashcard list. Afterwards I practice my flashcard set to retain new vocabulary. They also have a very helpful website!
Love this app! Im almost embarrassed to say... As a Chinese born in America, my parents always tried to get me to learn Chinese. Like most kids, I didnt study. So as I grew up, I started to lose it all. Now, Id be lucky if I could string a decent sentence together. This app is prepping me for my visit to China. Not only does it tell you the meaning of the word, but the context of it as well. The Chinese language can be challenging, knowing how to use a word is very important. I love how it tells you the word and context and you can hear it in a sentence too. I can learn while reading whats on the app or hearing. Its a great app!
Common Chinese (Set 1) is listed as a free download. When you click on it, nothing happens. This is obviously a bug. Please fix.
I love this app and use it every day. I like how the characters look and I love the pronunciation audio and the writing demonstration for each character. I bought the option to make unlimited lists and am in organizational heaven. There are three things Ive found that could be improved:
1) As another reviewer mentioned, trying to download any of the free lists causes the app to hang and I have to close it.
2) I would like to be able to reorder items in my lists.
3) Audio will not play through headphones. It will play through the phones speakers. This means I cant study the sounds quietly.
Other than those things, an excellent study aid for learning Chinese!
I have been using this dictionary for a little while now and I find it mush easier to navigate and to use than most other Chinese dictionaries, although the text to speech is a little slow. Love the app!
Almost all resources can be earned for free over time. Spend time studying progressively and be rewarded! Just download it - its amazing!
Pros:
Support - I had a problem with the recent update and support was very timely and helpful.
Bilingual Books - I love the fact that there are books in here to read or listen to once youve studied the words.
Flashcards - They have many flashcard sets, which is great. Youre also given the option of Traditional or Simplified, tone colors, and a marker to indicate infrequently used Chinese words.
Dictionary - Very easy to search by pinyin, character, or English as long as youre searching singular words.
Writing - I havent tried this yet, but there is a feature to see how each character is written.
As you can see, this program is packed with lots of features.
Cons:
No flashcard SRS system.
Looking up phrases in the dictionary (by typing in English) often returns no results. Looking up phrases in pinyin/characters returns all the individual characters and definitions but not example sentences or phrases they might be used in.
